Turning contextual behavioral science
into tools practitioners can use.
CBS Support Systems is a Japanese general incorporated association (一般社団法人) formed to advance research, practice, and training in contextual behavioral science, and to return that knowledge broadly to practitioners and to those who need support — contributing to people's psychological health and adjustment.

Scholarly activity
We hold research meetings and conduct scholarly exchange in contextual behavioral science, publishing a journal and research reports to share findings.

Support and systems
We support practitioners in practice and training, and design, develop, and license the systems that serve CBS-based support.
Our systems
Each system takes a procedure established in behavior analysis or relational frame theory and reduces the operational burden of running it — stimulus preparation, presentation order, trial-by-trial recording, and mastery decisions — so that the procedure survives contact with everyday practice.

MTS
Matching-to-Sample
Build and run tasks in which a learner selects among comparison stimuli given a sample. Supports image, audio, and text stimuli, hierarchical stimulus-set management, randomized presentation, and configurable feedback.

Stimulus Equivalence
Train and test for derived relations — reflexivity, symmetry, and transitivity — with training and testing phases handled as distinct sequences.

RFS
Relational Frame Skill
Assessment and training of relational framing — responding to stimuli in terms of their relations to one another — grounded in relational frame theory (RFT). The families of relations treated in RFT can be expressed as task families, and the design accommodates additional frames.

Work Sample
Vocational rehabilitation work tasks with four modes — assessment, training, self-check, and work-rate training — allowing the same task to serve evaluation and instruction within one framework.
